Founded by a student for students.

Akela Electronics LLC was founded near the end of 2025 by a student of Electronics and Computer Engineering who noticed that educational facilities were lacking in teaching aids and trainers for students that expounded on the principles and internal workings of integrated circuits and decided to be the driving force to close that gap.

The foundations of electronics are our focus and specialty as it forms the basis for everything that came after. Too much focus is put on the fact that “this is how this works” in schools today, but it overlooks the reasons about why that component works the way that it does. This has lead us to create the products that we are offering from customizable logic blocks to the 8088 computer and beyond.

From time to time we also carry new in box (NIB) or used older components, some of which are hard to find.
